FAQ

Questions worth asking before you hire anyone.

Straight answers on how this works, what it costs, and what to expect.

Do you only work with print artists?

Yes - and proudly so. Independent artists selling prints, posters, and original art through Shopify. Not fashion brands, not general DTC, not dropshippers. Just artists who make real things and want to sell more of them.

What markets do you work in?

UK, US, Australia, and EU. English-speaking markets only. If your store runs in another language or currency, we are probably not the right fit - though we appreciate you asking.

How is this different from a general ecommerce agency?

Most agencies would take your art store and run the same playbook they use for a protein powder brand. We have never done that and never will. Print margins, collector psychology, and the way people discover art online are completely different. Everything we do is built around that.

Do you manage Etsy stores?

Nope. Etsy is a great starting point but it is someone else's platform, someone else's audience, and someone else's rules. We are Shopify-focused. If you are ready to own your customer relationship, we can help you make that move.

What services are not included?

SEO blog writing, influencer management, Amazon, Etsy store management, wholesale, and licensing deals. We stay in our lane - paid social, Shopify, and email - and we do those things very well.

How does pricing work?

We take a share of the revenue we add on top of what your store is already doing - not your existing baseline, just the growth. There is a minimum retainer too, so the work we put in from week one is covered before the bigger numbers start coming in.

What does "performance-based" mean exactly?

It means our incentives are the same as yours. We grow when you grow. We do not get to take a fat percentage of revenue you were already making before we arrived. Only the new stuff counts.

Is there a startup fee or onboarding charge?

Nope. Nothing upfront. No surprise invoice on day one.

Are there long-term contracts?

Not after the initial scope period. Once we are through onboarding, everything is flexible - pause, scale back, or walk away. We would rather earn your loyalty than lock it in.

What happens if I have a bad month?

A bad month is a bad month - life happens, algorithms happen, January happens. Our share is based on added revenue, so if growth stalls, our cut reflects that. We are not here to bill you for standing still.

Will I actually make more money? Is it worth it?

Good question to ask, and the honest answer is: we are not interested in vanity metrics. Not in flashy ROAS numbers that don't pay rent, and not in growth that costs more than it returns. The only scoreboard we care about is whether there is more money in your account at the end of the month - and whether you had to spend less of your life getting it there.

How do I know if I am a good fit?

You make prints or original art, you want to sell direct to collectors, and you are ready to treat it like a business without losing the joy of making. Earlier stage is fine - the audit will give you an honest picture of where things stand.

What does the free audit involve?

We look at your current setup - store, social, email. About 30 minutes of our time, zero of your money. You leave with a clear written breakdown of what is working, what is not, and what to fix first. No pitch at the end, no pressure.

Do I need a Shopify store to get started?

Nope. The only hard requirement is that you want one eventually - and good energy to bring to the partnership. If you are not on Shopify yet, we will set the whole thing up for you, for free, as part of working together.

How long does onboarding take?

One week from the moment we have full access. We move fast.

How quickly will I see results?

Paid social needs a few weeks of data before we can optimise with confidence. Email tends to show up faster. We will tell you what realistic looks like for your specific store during the audit - no sugar-coating.

Which ad platforms do you run?

Meta and Pinterest are the core. Google Ads comes in once those are performing - it is a supporting act, not the headline. TikTok and other platforms are on the table if the situation calls for it.

Do you produce the ad creative?

Yes - and this is a big one. We produce all creative images and mockups, in unlimited supply. If we need something and do not have it, that is our problem to solve, not yours. We do not shoot or produce video, but image edits, sale graphics, seasonal assets, branding-consistent everything - that is all on us.

Do you manage email too?

Yes. Klaviyo setup, welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase flows, monthly campaigns - the works. Your email talks to your Shopify store in real time, so the right message goes to the right person at the right moment. Not blasted, not guessed.

Will you set up my print shop?

Yes. Partner selection, product setup, pricing, and fulfilment configuration. We run a test order before anything goes live - we would rather catch a problem at cost price than after a customer does.

How does reporting work?

We are on Slack and email every day. Every week you get a video and written update - what is live, what is performing, what we are testing next. You will never have to chase us to find out what is going on.

How much time will this take from me?

Around an hour a week once we are up and running. That said - this is a real partnership. The faster you get us what we need, the faster results show up. We will never be the bottleneck.

What if it is not working?

We will say so before you have to. If something is not performing after a fair run, you will hear it from us first - with a clear reason and a plan. We are not the type to quietly keep billing while hoping things turn around.

Can I pause or stop at any time?

Yes. No penalties, no awkward conversations. Just fair notice so we can wind things down properly and not leave campaigns hanging mid-flight.
