What this means in practice
When we recommend a tool or platform - such as Shopify, Klaviyo, or a print-on-demand partner - and link to it, that link may include an affiliate referral code. If you sign up or purchase through that link, we receive a commission from the company, not from you.
The price you pay is identical whether you use our link or go directly.
How we choose what to recommend
We only recommend tools and platforms we actually use with clients or have evaluated directly. The existence of an affiliate relationship does not influence whether we recommend something - if a tool is not the right fit for independent artists, we say so regardless of whether an affiliate programme exists.
Where relevant, we try to compare options honestly rather than only promoting the one that pays a commission.
